Being for Other

A seeking individual is looking for a friend as a way out of a current situation. Through a Deus ex Machina, this produced idea is materialized as a person, unknowing to their surroundings. They rendezvous, but slowly, the person is creating their own identity through interacting with the surroundings, to the dissapointment of the other.

The premise of the project is built upon the paradox Jean-Paul Sartre theorized in Being and Nothingness. To care for someone as free beings, but also to trap one another sadistically in fear and choke ones freedom, similar to Münchausuen by proxy. To manipulate for personal contribution.
