The Star Sailors

A spacefaring star sailor is searching for his child in the magical world of Paraiso. Along the way, the sailor and the child encounter various people, creatures and phenomena in this fantastical world.

About a few years ago, I discovered some illustrations that my mother created in the early 2000s. These illustrations were intended for a children's book.They depict me as a child, getting dressed and becoming a space hero. In The Star Sailors, I am exploring the story of this space hero that my mother began illustrating, where me and my child embarks on an adventure based on these illustrations. The Star Sailors is as much about parenthood as it is about reconnecting with one's inner child.
