The Star Sailors

A spacefaring star sailor is searching for his child on a mysterious planet filled with enigmatic people, creatures, and phenomena. Along the way, the sailor and the child encounter the mythical evening star, guiding them throughout this fantastical world.

A few years ago, I discovered some illustrations that my mother created in the early 2000s. These illustrations were intended for a children's book. They depict me as a child, getting dressed and becoming a space hero. In The Star Sailors, I am exploring the story of this space hero that my mother began illustrating, where my child and I embark on an adventure based on these illustrations. The Star Sailors is as much about parenthood as it is about reconnecting with one's inner child.
